This reminds me of blue de Chanel! Great projection, and better longevity.

Classic

Aquatic/fresh, aromatic fougere. Half-Moon reminds me of a fragrance for men that I was more familiar with in the early '90's. Of course, a person can't help but call to mind the likes of 'Cool Water', 'Aspen', and 'Green Irish Tweed' as these popular scents all share similar notes. But the one I was thinking of, with a similar structure of powdery and spicy notes in the heart and base, is a lesser-known creation from Guy Laroche (of 'Drakkar Noir' fame) called 'Horizon'. Either way, 'Half-Moon' has a classic, vintage '90's vibe, a time when "fresh" men's fragrances were gaining ground, but still retained a good amount of '80's complexity. Pure class. Poolside-friendly.

Crisp & Light

Half Moon reminds me a bit of Cool Water by Davidoff but it's much lighter. On intial application it has a bright, clean, fresh aquatic note. Once it settles on your skin, it turns into a deeper, creamier scent. Still noticeably aquatic but with light green notes. Good for men or women, I'd say. It's not as strong as some other perfume oils I've gotten from Al Rashad. It's light but it still lasts for several hours on me.
