Titillating top notes of oud, red pepper and rose, trilling middle notes of jasmine, cedarwood and cashmere, and tempting base notes of raspberry, musk and sandal come together in one potion to tantalize all of the senses. Ensconced in the darkest vial, encased in a dark box embellished with gold, the packaging says just enough about the secrets it holds.

The composition is reach and beautiful, masculin and a truly oriental, but I expect more sillage and long. for a parfume

Though I was intrigued by the title (and bottle) of 'Bakhoor al Salam', in the end I feel it deserves a 3-star "like". It starts off with a blast of rose, which fades abruptly to expose a spicy-fruity heart with sweet blossoms beneath. The blending is very nice, and I am reminded a bit of a light version of 'Tajebni' (by the same house) but unfortunately the base beneath this one is rather light, and the whole perfume is mostly gone at the 6-hour mark. Nice, and I'll use up my bottle, but I wouldn't re-buy.
